What a content factory engagement actually delivers

A Coastal Holloway engagement is not a consulting retainer where you get a slide deck and a polite follow-up. At the end of every project, you receive a configured n8n-compatible editorial pipeline integrated with your CMS (WordPress, Webflow, or Contentful), a team-ready style guide and brief template library, a Google Looker Studio dashboard wired to GA4 and your CRM, and a 12-month editorial roadmap with quarterly priority reviews built in. Typical project timelines range from three weeks for a rapid pipeline audit to fourteen weeks for a full factory build with team onboarding and analytics configuration. You own everything we build — there are no ongoing platform fees from us.

Our core service areas

Six distinct service lines, each scoped and priced separately — or bundled into a full factory build.

Content Pipeline Audit

A structured three-week review of your current production workflow, covering brief quality, approval cycle time, CMS usage, publishing cadence, and content decay rate. Deliverable: a 20-point remediation report with prioritised quick wins and a 90-day action plan.

Editorial Strategy Design

We build a topic cluster model anchored to your commercial keywords, then translate it into a 12-month calendar with effort estimates per asset type. Every topic is scored by search demand, competitive difficulty, and projected assisted conversion value before it enters your plan.

Publishing Workflow Design

We map your ideal production path — from commissioned brief to live URL — and configure the tools to match it. This includes CMS template setup, task assignment logic in your project management tool, and a role-specific responsibility matrix so no step is ever ambiguous.

Team Onboarding Sprint

A structured two-week sprint covering live workshops, written playbooks, and recorded reference sessions for your writers, editors, and SEO leads. We test comprehension with a practical brief exercise before signing off, ensuring every team member can operate independently from day one.

Analytics & Attribution Setup

We configure GA4 content groupings, set up assisted conversion tracking in your CRM, and build a Looker Studio report that shows content revenue attribution, publishing velocity, and content decay — refreshed weekly and sent to your inbox automatically.

Full Factory Build

All five services above, sequenced and delivered over ten to fourteen weeks with a dedicated engagement lead. Includes a kick-off ROI baseline workshop, bi-weekly progress reviews, and a 30-day post-launch support window. This is the engagement that transforms a content team into a content engine.

The publishing workflow Coastal Holloway designed for us cut our average time-from-brief-to-live from 18 days to 6. That compounding velocity effect showed up in our organic traffic within two quarters. What impressed me most was that they configured everything directly in our Contentful instance — we didn't have to migrate a thing.

Common questions about our services

Do you work with in-house teams or agencies?

Both. About 60% of our clients are in-house marketing teams at scale-up and mid-market companies. The remaining 40% are content agencies looking to systematise their own delivery — particularly around client onboarding and performance reporting.

Which CMS platforms do you support?

We configure pipelines natively in WordPress (including Elementor and block-editor setups), Webflow, Contentful, and Sanity. If your CMS has an API and a structured content model, we can almost certainly build around it — just ask.

How long does a full factory build take?

Ten to fourteen weeks is standard, depending on team size and the complexity of your existing tech stack. We've run accelerated eight-week builds for teams with clean CMS setups and an available internal project lead. We agree the timeline at scoping, not after kick-off.

What do we need to have in place before starting?

A CMS, a brief ownership decision (who commissions content), and at least one person on your side with edit access to your analytics. Everything else — processes, templates, dashboards — we build from scratch. You don't need an existing strategy for us to install one.

Will you write content for us?

We don't produce content — we build the systems that make your content team radically more efficient. If you need a copywriting partner, we can refer you to trusted specialists in our network, but Coastal Holloway's work begins where the production system needs engineering.
